Explore Music - an activity book for kids
Do you love teaching music theory? I have a passion to bring theory to all my students, even the littlest ones!
Most teachers agree, let's make theory FUN! Gone are the days of endless theory books and worksheets. And yet, sometimes those tools come in handy. Today's modern teachers use a combination of off-bench activities, relating theory to repertoire, apps, boom cards, and so much more!
Because kids still need to write it down.
Last year, I wrote a music theory activity book for my young students and put it on Amazon. Other teachers bought it, and here are some of the comments:
"My student loves the QR codes, and keeps asking to play the videos again and again!"
"Your activity book is a great resource!"
"Large text size is very helpful for my student!"
Teachers are loving this book!
I have talked to dozens of teachers about this book; and they all love it! Why? I think because of two reasons:
1. I involved teachers from the very beginning. Teachers tested the materials on their own students, and gave me feedback.
2. The book makes sense. It finally gives young kids the space to write, and gives them ways to figure out music concepts easily.
