REASONS FOR KIDS TO TAKE PIANO LESSONS

I've been "preaching to the choir" about how kids NEED piano lessons to help them with their fine motor skills. You may have noticed - kids these days - are struggling with fine motor skills and hand strength. What we provide HELPS them more than we can say. Here are some more reasons for kids to take piano:

Cognitive Development - another reason to take piano lessons

What is happening in our students' brain as they are working on their piano music? Lots. For starters, we have got: reading notes, playing with both hands, and understanding musical concepts. The brain power that comes from working in this way helps stimulate development in the child.

Discipline + Patience

That's the goal. Learning to practice, break down a piece, solve problems, set goals, and work through challenges. Again, I don't have to tell YOU this stuff.
